My new “Serenity” painting went through many changes before you see it in its final version.
In this painting I used a lot of earthy colours such as Ochre, English Red, etc.
The overall tone of the painting came out soft, subdued and balanced. You will not see very bright,
open and screaming colours here, on the contrary everything is very restrained.
Perhaps this is a tribute to the old masters of painting,
where you can see the nobility of colours and soft, barely distinguishable ratios of tones.

A multi-layered technique was used in this painting.
